Marquetry is a technique for creating imagery or decorative motifs on the surface of furniture through contrasting wood design. This particular piece depicts a lake of swans. Piece is framed with a beautiful textured mat. Made in 1989 of holly, ebony, poplar, satin wood, and limba woods.
